Title: Funding Specialist

Location: Northeastern Region (Remote)

Description

• The Funding Specialist will play a key role in supporting financial processes by ensuring that consumer financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
• This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to facilitate financial operations.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Review financial transaction documents and process disbursement requests to customers and service providers
• Enter financial data into the transaction management system
• Manage the setup and release of electronic and paper-based payments
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial processes
• Identify and report discrepancies, issues, or transaction errors promptly
• Monitor daily deposits, delayed transactions, escalations, and financial discrepancies
• Address exceptions, stale checks, and account balances as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in financial processing, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Capable of working independently and managing assignments within given guidelines
• Proficiency in basic computer programs, including common productivity software
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience in financial operations or lending services
• Familiarity with financial transaction processing systems
  
  

Compensation

Pay Range: $49000K-$70000K
