Description
- We are seeking a self-motivated professional to join our electronic trading support team.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting algorithmic and electronic trading systems, monitoring trade execution, and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced, global trading environment.
- This role involves providing both functional and technical support, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring seamless system performance.
- The role follows a global support model, requiring coordination across multiple time zones.
- Experience in supporting electronic trading and execution systems.
- Strong knowledge of market data, trade processing, and order execution workflows.
- Proficiency in managing system administration tasks related to trading platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to straight-through processing (STP).
- Incident management experience with timely issue resolution.
- Strong collaboration skills to liaise with users, developers, and third-party vendors.
- Capability to handle software releases and perform release management tasks.
- Experience in project management, including building project plans and tracking resources.
- Ability to write and execute test scripts for new system releases.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and market environments.
- Experience in maintaining system documentation and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of system recovery and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience supporting front-office trading teams, particularly in fixed-income and currency trading.
- Strong understanding of trading systems architecture and integration.
- Proficiency in system monitoring and troubleshooting using command-line interfaces.
- Knowledge of database query languages for data retrieval and analysis.
- Familiarity with operating systems used in trading environments.
