Description
- The Manager of Application Development Support is responsible for overseeing the post-deployment support and maintenance of software applications.
- This role ensures smooth operation, stability, and performance of applications used across the organization.
- The position involves managing a team focused on troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet ongoing business needs and remain operational.
- Experience leading and managing application support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise applications across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring, optimization, and best practices for stability.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools, IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, and incident management processes.
- Proficiency in issue tracking and ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage priorities, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and related monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and automation technologies.
- Understanding of data security best practices and application security principles.
