Description
- The Manager of Application Development Support will lead a team responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of enterprise-level software systems after deployment.
- This role ensures that applications remain stable, perform effectively, and align with business goals.
- The position involves team leadership, operational oversight, incident resolution, and collaboration with development teams to identify and implement continuous improvements.
- The manager will also focus on application monitoring, performance tuning, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to ensure efficient support processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years of experience in supporting enterprise applications, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and platform performance optimization
- Knowledge of application lifecycle and operations management frameworks
- Familiarity with support and monitoring tools such as issue tracking systems and performance monitoring platforms
- Experience applying best practices in incident and problem management
- Ability to analyze patterns in issue resolution and recommend preventive improvements
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead support teams in high-pressure environments and prioritize issues effectively
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and monitoring platforms
- Experience with automation and continuous delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of modern service delivery frameworks and collaborative development practices
