Title : AV Support Technician
Location : Northeastern United States (Onsite)
Description :
We are seeking a skilled AV Support Technician to ensure the proper functioning and support of audio-visual systems and related technologies. This role involves troubleshooting, setting up equipment for events, and providing user training to ensure seamless operations in meeting and conference spaces. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities :
Diagnose and resolve issues with audio-visual hardware and software in meeting rooms.
Provide setup and technical support for conferences, events, and meetings.
Troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions to maintain office and AV systems.
Support users with hardware, software, and Office 365 applications, offering training as needed.
Manage technical service requests through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Install and configure new computers, printers, and audio-visual equipment, including operating systems and approved software.
Train users on system usage and communicate updates or changes to ensure efficient operations.
Document technical activities and provide written references for internal use.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 cloud applications.
Knowledge of AV technologies such as Polycom, Crestron, and RealPresence.
Intermediate expertise in hardware and networking.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Desired Skills :
Familiarity with legal industry software is preferred.
Certifications such as A , Server , MCSA, or MCSE are preferred.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Demonstrated expertise in applicable technology areas; certifications are a plus.
Experience :
4–5 years of experience with hardware, networking, and information systems.
Experience in a professional environment, such as a law firm, is preferred but not required
