Description :
The Insurance Customer Service Representative will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients by managing policy inquiries, processing changes, and handling claims. This role involves consistent communication with clients, issuing documentation, and providing quotes based on individual needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
Build trust and loyalty with customers to strengthen client relationships.
Follow up on referrals and leads from networking opportunities.
Maintain consistent communication with clients to address inquiries and concerns.
Utilize various systems to process daily transactions, including policy updates, changes, claims, and endorsements.
Provide insurance quotes and process policy changes as needed.
Issue insurance documentation, including certificates of insurance and ID cards.
Required Skills :
3 years of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on customer service.
Valid Property and Casualty License.
Proficiency with computer software; experience with insurance platforms (e.g., Applied EPIC) is a plus.
Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professionalism and accuracy.
Ability to collaborate effectively while working independently.
Desired Skills :
Experience with customer service processes in the insurance industry.
Familiarity with claims handling and policy rating practices.
