Description
- We are seeking an experienced Network Monitoring Engineer to support network visibility and endpoint observability across a large enterprise environment.
- This role requires a strong background in network security, endpoint administration on Unix-based systems, and hands-on experience with modern monitoring solutions.
- The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of tuning high-performance capture environments, scripting for automation, and working within security frameworks to enhance threat detection and infrastructure observability.
- 5 years of experience deploying and maintaining network monitoring tools in enterprise environments
- 4 years of system administration on Unix-based platforms
- Hands-on experience tuning high-throughput packet capture systems
- Working knowledge of threat detection models and security frameworks
- 4 years of experience in scripting and automation using common configuration and orchestration tools
- Background in full stack development for monitoring and analysis platforms
- Understanding of networking principles, cloud environments, and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with stream processing, data aggregation, and visualization tools
- Understanding of infrastructure provisioning and containerization
- Proficiency in working within cloud-native ecosystems
- Exposure to Agile delivery practices and DevSecOps environments
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and share technical knowledge
- Experience with zero-trust network principles and modern detection strategies
- Professional certifications in network security or cloud platforms are a plus
