Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our Gratz, Pennsylvania Ops Support Center as Engineering Interns. In this role, you will assist experienced Engineers with design, modification, and documentation tasks, while learning and gaining experience in fenestration product design, product testing, and/or production machinery. Your contributions will be invaluable to our team, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits package to support your career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with higher-level Engineers to optimize design and manufacturability
- Develop 3D models and simulations of fenestration products and production machinery
- Prepare and revise product documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
- Analyze data from prototype testing to inform design improvements
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing and Quality Assurance
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design)
- Proficiency in 3D computer-aided drafting/design software, including Solidworks
- Experience with engineering part/assembly document reading, including GD&T
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
