Facilities Coordinator – Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly!

Join MEPPI as a Facilities Coordinator and take charge of ensuring our buildings are safe, clean, and operating at peak efficiency. In this role, you'll coordinate maintenance, security, and building operations while managing vendors and driving facility improvements.
What You’ll Do:
Keep Things Running: Assist the Facilities Manager in planning and coordinating maintenance, security, and renovations.
Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee service providers to ensure top-quality performance and cost-effectiveness.
Project Leadership: Manage facility upgrades, office moves, and renovations from start to finish.
Stay Proactive: Conduct daily facility inspections, monitor work orders, and implement corrective action plans.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop schedules to ensure optimal performance of building systems.
Budget & Cost Control: Track expenses, identify savings, and forecast future facility costs.
Data & Reporting: Maintain organized digital records, generate facility condition reports, and create heat maps.
Professional Representation: Serve as a key point of contact for contractors and internal teams while upholding MEPPI’s quality, safety, and environmental policies.
Be a Trusted Backup: Step in for the Facilities Manager when needed.
What you'll bring:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience in facility operations and maintenance.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
People & Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with employees, vendors, and contractors.
Multi-Tasking Ability: Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
