Position Overview:
The Mitsubishi Trade Finance Solutions Division seeks a detail-oriented and diligent Client Management Operations professional to join a high growth AR Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Trade Payables Finance and Working Capital Solutions platform. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, with a keen eye for accuracy, a strong understanding of trade finance and working capital structures, and a commitment to upholding operational standards. In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of operational processes related to structured finance facilities, supporting efficient workflows and mitigating risks. The role requires a team-oriented self-starter, who is thorough, yet efficient (able to deliver accurately in a timely manner) and able to communicate effectively at all levels (internal, external and with third party service providers).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Transaction Processing:
- Support the setup of new finance facilities within our front-end technology application, as well as playing a critical role in the funding, offer acceptance, and reconciliation processes to ensure transactions are accurately and efficiently processed and reconciled.
- Engage with complex, large, enterprise customers to deploy MHCA’s working capital solutions and financial services
- Data Maintenance/Reporting:
- Update and maintain accurate records in internal systems, ensuring data integrity across all trade finance transactions, including reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments over and above the daily role as needed in a company in its early stages of development
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain control checks to ensure high levels of accuracy and compliance in transaction processing, identifying and correcting any errors promptly.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify and solve problems and know when to escalate issues.
- Assist with due diligence processes
- Customer Support:
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to trade finance processes, financing requests, reporting queries, and providing accurate information and troubleshooting as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Propose adjustments to existing processes to help optimize efficiency and accuracy, while adhering to established workflows.
- Continually leverage and optimize operations technology systems. Track, research and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive operational excellence to ensure scalability and best practices, comprehensive nature.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with and coordinating numerous internal and external parties (stakeholders, consultants, other vendors) to implement initiatives, ensure productivity and flawless execution.
- Adept at balancing multiple tasks simultaneously to meet the demands of a rapidly growing financial services company.
- Proficiency in financial services and working capital documentation and standard procedures.
- Self-directed, proactive team member with excellent organizational skills and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with trade finance software is a plus.

Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management or similar quantitative major and/or equivalent experience.
- Relevant work experience at one or more of the following types of firms: banking (multi-national corporate or investment bank preferred), trade finance company, factoring company, financial technology company providing working capital solutions for B2B transactions.
- Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in client management operations and customer service (ideally within trade finance, working capital solutions, invoice factoring or a similar financial services environment).

- Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs.
Travel:
Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars.

- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.

The position is exempt, and salary will be between $86,800 and $96,100 with an opportunity to earn a bonus.
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience and education.
