Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Operations Specialist to support our Trade Finance business unit. In this role, you will ensure the smooth preparation and execution of operational processes related to distribution, trade payables, account receivables and supply chain finance facilities while supporting efficient workflows and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, a strong understanding of various forms of invoice factoring, trade payables finance and working capital structures, with a commitment to upholding operational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Transaction Processing:
- Support the setup of new finance facilities within our front-end technology application, as well as playing a critical role in the funding, offer acceptance, and reconciliation processes to ensure all funding transactions are accurately and efficiently processed and reconciled.
- Data Maintenance/Reporting:
- Update and maintain accurate records in internal systems, ensuring data integrity across all trade finance transactions, including reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain control checks to ensure high levels of accuracy and compliance in transaction processing, identifying and correcting any errors promptly.
- Customer Support:
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to trade finance processes, financing requests, reporting queries, and provide accurate information and troubleshooting as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Propose adjustments to existing processes to help optimize efficiency and accuracy, while adhering to established workflows.

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge and 2 years experience in Working Capital, Invoice Factoring, AR Finance, Supply Chain Finance or related
- Customer service experience in high volume, professional environment preferred
- Proficiency in trade finance, working capital or lending documentation, contracts and standard procedures highly desired
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office i.e. MS Excel; experience with trade finance software is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- One or more years of experience in operations, ideally within trade finance, working capital, or a similar financial services environment.
Licensing and Certification:

- Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs.
Travel:
- Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars.

- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
