Responsibilities
Supports in standard material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up.
Supports standard design, development, testing and modifications of solutions.
Supports in preparing explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of standard specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data.
Evaluates communicating standard technical and commercial issues clearly.
May support recommending standard new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements.
Use engineering tools such as Solidedge for 3D modeling and drafting, ACAD for 2D Drafting and ANSYS for basic stress calculations, and CADCAM for machine programming.
When required ensure that equipment is manufactured, tested, installed, and commissioned in accordance with the design / operational requirements.
Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Up to 2 years of related experience
Basic knowledge of engineering principles, calculation methods, metals related equipment design, equipment selection and function
Knowledge of computer systems associated with discipline including 3D Solid Edge and 2DAutoCad
Knowledge of Metals related equipment, design and equipment selection and function
Ability to work with all groups within and outside the organization
Salary : $58,000 - $98,000
