Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support for Root Cause Analysis Process (8D format) and containment actions documentation and tracking.
- Support Corrective and Preventive action initiatives and implementation.
- Support collection and analysis of non-conformance data.
- Assist in maintaining NCR database.
- Support identifying and interpreting data trends by using Statistical Process Control techniques.
- Help with development and maintenance of actionable metrics (KPI's) to understand quality issues and apply improvements.
- Support the establishment of quality related training programs and techniques.
- Support reviewing customer and supplier inspection and test plans.
- Assist generating Quality related procedures and specifications to support the MPSA Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.

- Education and/or Experience:College undergraduate pursuingBachelor's degree (BS) in a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quality Management) from four-year College or University (preferable); or graduate status with a 4-year completion of a technical discipline as mentioned above.
- Personal Traits: Must be able to promote a positive and professional demeanor at all times by optimizing communications techniques and responses through various levels of the corporation. Must be results oriented and team oriented. Individual must be a complete TEAM PLAYER.
- Mathematical Skills:Proficient in Geometry with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software, electronic mail, statistical software, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.
