Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for a Transformation Office Manager.
Summary
This position will provide day-to-day support of the Transformation Office (TO) and company-wide transformation efforts (Power ). It requires a variety of skills such as a proven track record as a business or technical leader with a strong standing in the organization; the ability to contribute to a common goal via a broad range of communication and coaching skills; the ability to learn new systems and solve problems; and the ability to contribute to reporting KPIs and findings to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is self-driven, has experience leading cross-functional teams, and is strong with process improvement and project management principles.
Key responsibilities include driving performance management of the entire transformation scope, collaborating with the Workstream Sponsors to remove roadblocks and mobilize the organization, and leading the Transformation Office team. Must possess the ability to work with multiple departments under pressure and meet short-turn deadlines. Requires excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drives weekly TO cadence and ensures TO process compliance.
- Coordinates and prepares materials for weekly Transformation cadence.
- Responsible for facilitating weekly TO meetings, ensuring the correct topics are discussed and actions are reviewed.
- Prepares and disseminates Transformation reports and updates.
- Ensures accurate and timely preparation of all materials for the weekly TO meetings, Steering Committee and TO Leader briefings.
- Tracks workstream actions from TO meetings and coordinates with Workstream sponsors and other relevant parties to ensure execution.
- Manages pipeline progress (knows the pipeline and what potential roadblocks exist).
- Knows the organization well and is proactive in finding individuals that can assist in eliminating roadblocks.
- Facilitates coordination between internal teams.
- Challenges pace, ambition, and performance of the transformation.
- Works with financial departments to ensure transformation progress is properly calculated, measured and confirmed.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
- Occasional overnight travel up to 10% by land, train and/or air.

- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA) in Engineering or Business from four-year college or university; and at least seven (7) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Energy or Power industry related experience a plus.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software, PowerPoint and Word Processing software, flow charts, database software, and Internet software.
