Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls, taking reservations, or providing information about the restaurant.
• Help promote special events or menu items to enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective guest relations.
• A passion for the restaurant industry and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Pay: $16.84 - $18.18 per hour
