Commercial Plumbing Project Manager

MJ Mechanical is looking for a Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and execute our plumbing projects with efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to manage all aspects of project administration, budgeting, compliance, scheduling, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight & Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and general contractors. Manage takeoffs, buyouts, and submittals for successful project execution.
• Budget & Financial Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, oversee billing, retainage, and change orders, and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Compliance & Permitting: Ensure adherence to plumbing regulations, secure necessary permits, and maintain safety compliance.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with field teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and officials to keep projects on schedule.
• Material & Equipment Management: Verify supplier pricing, manage tools and equipment, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Project Close-Out: Oversee the completion of close-out documentation, warranty requirements, and final cost reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing field experience
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing project management
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,288.00 - $75,593.00 per year
