Job Description

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance required.
Strong technical accounting skill including GAAP, proactive, detail oriented and accountable.
Minimum five to seven years of experience in accounting required.
Valid Driver's License

JD :

Assist with monthly and yearly closing process of the company and its subsidiaries.

Participate in preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Maintains and reconciles various schedules required for closing process.

Uses analytical skills to solve problems and understand accounting functions.

Prepares and reconciles general ledger entries to trial balances.

Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required by Management.

Oversees and reviews analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure the integrity and accuracy

of accounts.

Assist in preparation of annual financial audit work papers.

Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills / Abilities :

Able to work independently, follow directions and ability to work well with other people.

Able to manage and complete multiple projects and tasks with strict time sensitive deadlines.

Strong managerial presence that reflects a “hands-on”, participative operating style.

Thorough knowledge of accounting controls, processes, and systems.

Experience with Sage accounting software is a plus.

Proficiency with Excel.

Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization.

Strong managerial and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability and desire to work in a fast, paced, dynamic environment and dress is casual.

Headquarters position with virtually no travel.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
