What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate position at MJW CONSOLIDATED?
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate who pays attention to detail, and is organized for an immediate opportunity at our North Jacksonville location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Enter invoices in accounting system for payments ensuring correct matching, coding and approval.
- Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
- Assist in monthly closings.
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
- Assist with special projects, as necessary.
- Match purchase orders confirming prices and quantity to vendors’ invoices.
- Check accuracy of employee reimbursement expenses before processing.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoicing and payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Review vendor statements and address missing or inaccurate information.
- Respond to vendors inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance to Company policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
