DATE REVISED: April 2025 CLASS: Non-Exempt JOB TITLE: Customer Service Specialist REPORTS TO: Accounts Receivable Manager JOB SUMMARY: This position is generally responsible for customer support and other administrative related duties at the Moundridge Administrative Office. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. 2. Must be accurate and detail oriented. 3. Computer and data entry skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 4. Knowledge of and ability to operate the company phone system. 5. Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. 6. Ability to deal with emotional customers and employees in person and by phone. Ability to resolve complaints and disputes. 7. Frequently lift or move 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Appropriate personal protective equipment in restrictive areas. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma and currently or will be attending college in the future. WORKING CONDITIONS: Job involves work inside a climate-controlled office atmosphere. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Customer Support Functions ? Responsible for front desk and ensuring that all customers and guests are promptly greeted and assisted at the administrative office. ? Responsible for taking telephone calls, ascertaining the nature of the call, screening and routing the calls in a prompt and professional manner. ? Responsible for processing customer payments for all companies, preparing deposits, and balancing the cash drawer. ? Record various monthly transactions as directed by the AR Manager. ? Responsible for granting customer access to the online portal MKC Connect.
