Powercor is the specialty services division of MKD Electric we are a NICET-certified electrical testing, engineering, controls, and automation company. Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Installer willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field.
What you will do…
Bend and install EMT/rigid conduit.
Set up and pull wire and cable.
Install BMS/EPMS Panels, Network racks, Gutters etc….
Install and terminate BMS/EPMS Devices.
Termination in Control panels. (CAT6, Shielded Cable, Poly tubing) .
Read/comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts.
What you will need to succeed…
Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
Proven experience in electrical field.
Knowledgeable of BMS/EPMS systems with in the Data Center Industry.
Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up and down stairs on regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift.
Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts.
Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift.
Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools, and automatic machinery.
Must be safety conscious.

Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors.
