MKD Electric is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator. As part of this role…

As an Entry-Level HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping new employees feel welcomed and supported as they begin their journey with our company. You will assist with various aspects of the onboarding process, including new hire documentation, orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition for all new employees. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in HR, with training and mentorship provided.


What you will do…

 

Onboarding Support:

  •         Assist with the coordination of new hire orientation, ensuring all materials and resources are ready.
  •         Help process new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
  •         Ensure new employees have the necessary equipment, access to systems, and introductions to key team members.
  •         Provide support to new hires by answering questions and offering guidance on their first day and throughout the onboarding process.
  •         Track and follow up with new hires to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  •  Employee Experience:
  •         Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for new hires by helping them integrate into the company culture.
  •         Maintain communication with new employees during their first weeks to ensure they feel supported.
  •         Assist in organizing and facilitating employee introductions, lunch meetups, and team-building activities.

HR Administration & Compliance:

  •         Maintain accurate records of new hire documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  •         Ensure that new hire information is entered correctly into HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
  •         Assist in conducting new hire surveys to gather feedback and make improvements to the onboarding process.

Training & Development Assistance:

  •         Help coordinate any required training sessions for new employees, ensuring they are scheduled and prepared.
  •         Maintain and update training materials and documents as needed.

 

What you will need to succeed…

 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: No previous HR experience required; we are looking for someone eager to learn and grow in HR.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A positive, approachable, and professional attitude

The base pay range for this position is $52,000 to $54,000 per year. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
