About the Role - Director of Construction to oversee and lead high-profile luxury hospitality and residential projects in the Miami market. The Director of Construction will play a key role in managing project teams, ensuring successful project delivery, and maintaining the high standards of excellence that our brand is known for. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction leader with expertise in high-end residential and hospitality projects, who is ready to take on a leadership role with a market leader in the South Florida construction industry.

Responsibilities -

• Project Oversight: Lead and manage all aspects of luxury hospitality and residential construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide project managers, superintendents, and other construction staff, cultivating a high-performance team that reflects our commitment to excellence.
• Client and Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and designers, ensuring that communication is clear, efficient, and responsive throughout the lifecycle of each project.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure that projects stay within financial and time constraints, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement project strategies, aligning project goals with the company's broader business objectives and market opportunities.
• Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, design, and luxury finishes, including implementing quality control measures and monitoring performance at every phase of the project.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements, while prioritizing sustainability and environmentally conscious building practices.
• Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively, working to resolve them quickly and effectively to prevent project delays or complications.

Qualifications -

• Minimum of 8-10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing luxury hospitality and residential projects.
• Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering large, complex luxury construction projects, particularly in the South Florida market.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional knowledge of project management software, scheduling tools, and budgeting techniques.
• In-depth understanding of high-end construction practices, including a keen eye for design, detail, and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications a plus).
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and compliance in the luxury construction sector.
