Key Responsibilities :
- Project Coordination :
- Support the project manager and superintendent in planning and executing all phases of construction.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Assist in tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Document Control :
- Review and maintain project documents, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
- Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Prepare and distribute reports, meeting minutes, and project updates as needed.
- Technical Support :
- Assist in reviewing plans and specifications to identify potential conflicts or challenges.
- Support the preparation and submission of RFIs and ensure timely responses.
- Work with the design and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
- Procurement and Cost Management :
- Help manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Maintain logs and track deliveries to ensure project resources are on schedule.
- Assist in tracking project costs and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
- Quality Assurance and Safety :
- Support the enforcement of quality control and safety procedures on the job site.
- Conduct site walks to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Identify and report quality or safety issues to project leadership.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication :
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients and stakeholders as directed by the project manager.
