Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the fabrication and erection of structural steel and miscellaneous metals for our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to structural steel and miscellaneous metals, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to develop project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns that may arise.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to assess project status and coordinate with on-site teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication between various departments to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the structural steel and miscellaneous metals industry.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
