Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $90,200 to167,400 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].

You Will Make an Impact By:
- Participating in early design concepts focusing on design for manufacturing.
- Creating bills of materials.
- Creating sequence of events and operational method sheets/work instructions and routings
- Identifying, trouble-shoot and effectively translate issues into a robust manufacturing process.
- Identifying critical process parameters to track, creating a robust dataset for yield and process improvements.
- Setting up and running a pilot/qualification production line.
- Planning, preparing and executing transfer to manufacturing including contract manufacturing.
- BS degree in Optics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline and 5 years of work experience
- Experience in the use of laser test equipment, both optical (power meters, spectrometers, interferometers, etc.) and electrical (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Experience in product transition into a volume manufacturing environment including contract manufacturing.
- Strong commitment to process control and quality
- Experience in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis and DFM
- Working knowledge of manufacturing procedure and process flow; experience and knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing
- SAP, Agile, other ERP and product lifecycle management systems
- Systematic problem-solving approaches like 8D or 5WHY
