We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Mlaker Student Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for promoting a positive work environment for our drivers, empowering them to provide safe and high-quality student transportation.
Duties Include:
- Promoting a positive work environment for drivers
- Scheduling drivers and buses for daily routes and extra-curricular trips
- Providing drivers with necessary paperwork, including directions and itineraries
- Communicating route changes and discipline issues with schools and drivers via phone, radio, and email
- Answering driver call-offs and scheduling substitute drivers
- Working with computer scheduling systems
- Solving in-trip problems with drivers, students, or buses
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints
- Seeking out new business leads and customers through charter work
- Recruiting and hiring new candidates
- Maintaining driver personnel paperwork and training
- Able to obtain a Class B CDL with S and P endorsements
