Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform radiation therapy treatment planning using advanced software and techniques.
- Conduct quality assurance tests on radiation equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and refine treatment plans.
- Train and support staff on radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, or a related field.
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology Therapeutic Physics or Medical Physics required.
- Proficiency in 3-D conformal planning.
- Completion of a two-year residency in Medical Physics is preferred.
