Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a student recruitment strategy aligned with the institution’s mission and goals. Monitor market trends and best practices in student recruitment. - Recruitment Management:
Oversee all aspects of the student recruitment process, including outreach, application review, and selection. Work with academic departments to understand their student recruitment needs. - Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, setting goals and monitoring performance. Provide training and development for recruitment staff. - Outreach and Partnerships:
Build relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to enhance student recruitment. Represent the institution at recruitment events, college fairs, and conferences. - Diversity and Inclusion:
Develop strategies to recruit a diverse student body. Collaborate with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to support recruitment efforts. - Technology and Innovation:
Utilize recruitment software and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on new technologies and methods in student recruitment. - Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure recruitment practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes. - Budget Management:
Manage the recruitment budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet recruitment objectives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Communication:
Answer inquiries from parents contacting us for enrollment and communicate with local schools to facilitate enrollments. Attend weekly recruiting staff meetings. - Recruitment Activities:
Recruit students and seek referrals from businesses and organizations. Participate in community fairs and similar gatherings to represent the school system. Facilitate recruiting events to maximize student enrollment. - Campus Activities:
Facilitate campus tours for businesses and schools with the campus dean. Conduct public school visits and organize luncheons for recruiting purposes (Approval required). Attend meetings with the recruitment director and campus dean. - Administrative Support:
Provide enrollment assistance and send routine recruiting updates via email to the recruiting director (not the campus deans). - Reporting:
Report all concerns addressed by deans to the recruiting director. - Partnership Development:
Establish and nurture partnerships with colleges to promote Foundations Academy diploma programs, enhancing educational opportunities for students and fostering collaborative relationships between institutions.
Additional Information
- Gas stipends will be provided during extended recruiting periods (TBA).
- Campus cell phones can be provided for recruiting purposes.
- A school credit card will be provided for approved purchases.
- Travel outside of state lines to recruit for other Foundation Academy Schools is permitted.
Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in recruitment, with 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in student recruitment. Proven success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency with recruitment software and tools.
