We seek a dedicated and certified athletic trainer to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch care to athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being. The athletic trainer assumes responsibility for on-site athletic training coverage at designated schools and community events. Responsibilities include injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, developing conditioning programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum Level: Bachelor's degree
Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or equivalent
Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio.
Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site athletic training at designated schools and community events as instructed.
Deliver prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation adhering to Premier Health standards.
Engage in continuous education and stay abreast of industry trends.
Participate in public speaking engagements to raise awareness and educate on sports medicine.
Contribute to cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department.
Demonstrate excellent customer service for athletes and stakeholders.
Work with other sports medicine team members to enhance effectiveness. #MLR
