JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title - Facilities Maintenance Technician
Duration- 3 Months Contract to start
Location- Denver, PA, United States, 17517
Payrate : $ 27
No of positions : 5
Summary
Successful candidates will be responsible for, according to level of experience and necessary licensing, repair and maintain facility and equipment including HVAC, conveyor systems, sanitation equipment, and material handling equipment and battery replacement.
Schedule : Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat 2nd shift, 2 : 30pm 11 : 00pm
Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat 3rd shift 10 : 30pm-7 : 00am
Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
Responsibilities
- Emphasis on warehouse maintenance experience.
- Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and safely.
Stay abreast of current technology regarding job duties.
Perform inspection of doors and dock plates, and all other building and support areas. Recognize problems and repairs before breakdown occurs.
Independently troubleshoot and make repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair records through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Follow company policies and procedures. Ensure a safe work environment.
- Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Will need to bring my own tools. List of tools will be provided shortly.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitive arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment. Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and heights.
Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.
