What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Global Benefits position at MMC Corporate?
The Senior Manager, Global Benefits is responsible for overseeing all global benefit programs, including @YourBest (well-being), the international EAP (employee assistance plan), ISOS (emergency travel support) and the business travel accident plan. The Senior Manager, Global Benefits is a global role that reports to the Senior Director, International Benefits. The Senior Manager will oversee well-being activities, including providing well-being support to the local People Function and business teams and working independently with the well-being vendor, WebMD. Additionally, the Senior Manager, Global Benefits will work closely with the rest of the Global Benefits team, Mercer-Marsh Benefits consultants, brokers and vendors.
The role will manage/be supported by one fulltime contractor.
Additionally, there is a requirement to work from the office at least three days per week.
We will count on you to:
- Provide guidance & expertise in all areas of well-being, ensuring a holistic approach to providing colleagues support for their emotional, physical, financial and social needs
- Execute on a multi-year global well-being strategy, including annual deliverables
- Develop well-being metrics to measure engagement, effectiveness, and value to our colleagues and the company.
- Recommend program improvements as appropriate to maximize benefits to the colleagues and ensure strong overall experience.
- Develop and maintain a master calendar of well-being activities, events and milestones
- Establish and coordinate the efforts of a network of well-being advocates across the businesses
- Work with consultants, brokers and local Finance to conduct annual renewals
- Socialize renewal results and gain approval
- Distribute new program costs and designs to budget owners
- Work closely with internal communication experts to promote programs, engage colleagues and oversee the company’s investment
- Work with internal communications, legal, local HR and consultants (if applicable) to develop benefits communications, including well-being campaigns
- Work closely with the Global Benefits Team to ensure well-being programs are properly integrated in overall benefits offerings
- Ensure that practices and procedures for the programs comply with regulatory and local legislative requirements
- Ensure proper governance of benefits plans by incorporating regular reporting, review, and oversight
- Collaborate with professional benefits organizations and networking groups to understand trends (both emerging and established) in the areas of well-being and global benefits programs
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all global well-being programs and vendor partnerships, including but not limited to @YourBest and the Employee Assistance Program
- Oversee and manage ancillary global benefit plans, including but not limited to International SOS, business travel accident, and discount programs
- Support response to emergency situations such as pandemics, natural disaster and conflicts.
- Manage relationships with all global benefits and well-being vendors, and hold them accountable to high quality, flawless execution and superior service levels
- Assist with managing, tracking and coordinating projects

- A minimum of 7 years of benefits related experience

The applicable base salary range for this role is $115,300 to $240,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
