We're looking for YOU, our next MnPRA CPRS: (This is an on-call position)
Job Summary
The role of the MnPRA CPRS is responsible for delivering peer recovery support services. The MnPRA CPRS will host individual meetings with clients focused on: education; advocacy; mentorship; and, attending groups and meetings in support of recovery. This is an on-call hourly role, specifically to deliver 1:1 services.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deliver peer recovery support services consistent with scope of role and 245G requirements.
- Partner with clients care team to provide additional, intentional, 1:1 recovery support
- Complete documentation related to services provided. A PRSS can bill up to a maximum of 8 units per client (2 hours) in one day.
- Develop a Recovery Wellness Plan (RWP) upon initial meeting with a client. Ensure ongoing visibility of RWP with client’s care team.
- Use a billing service report to submit hours in order to be paid based on services provided.
- Participate in weekly supervision meetings or the equivalent of 1 supervision hour to 20 service hours.
Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
- Hold a Peer Recovery Specialist credential through the Minnesota Certification Board
- Personal experience with successful recovery for a minimum of two years prior to date of hire
- Excellent in-person communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to model appropriate boundaries and a lifestyle that reflects MnTC’s culture of honor

- Ability to hold a valid DL and transport clients
Compensation: $25 per billable service hour and $15.97/hr for non billable administrative duties
