Your role at MOBE
This is an exciting time at MOBE and we are growing fast. At MOBE, we have a lot of data: eligibility, medical and pharmacy claims, marketing campaign impressions, transcripts from participant interactions, etc.
As a Data Operations Quality Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of MOBE’s data pipelines. Partnering with business and technology teams to design, implement, and optimize data quality processes that support business operations and analytics. Your expertise in healthcare data, analytical mindset, and ability to collaborate will help shape the future of data-driven decision-making at MOBE.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor operational data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across multiple systems.
- Identify, assess, and document data quality issues and their impact on business operations.
- Utilize ETL tools for execution of data processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data movement.
- Collaborate with business owners, analysts, developers, and technology teams to drive data quality improvements.
- Develop and implement automated quality checks to detect anomalies and prevent data inconsistencies.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts and business intelligence teams to align pipeline execution with business needs.
- Effectively communicate data quality issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Determine root causes of data discrepancies and recommend long-term solutions.
- Participate in special projects that support our mission and business objectives.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a healthcare-related field (preferably payer).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data, including formats, processing, and analytics.
- Experience executing and monitoring operational data pipelines in a production environment.
- Experience using ETL tools for execution (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Talend, or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write queries for data validation and transformation.
- Experience developing test plans and use cases focused on business and data definitions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges.
- Experience with data quality automation and validation processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the data development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate oral/written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate moderately complex present data findings.to business users and management
- Ability and eagerness to learn new tools and applications.
- Self-starter able to work independently on defined tasks and priorities, seek out guidance/assistance when issues arise, or objectives require clarification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred
- Experience using DBT Cloud to execute and manage data pipelines, ensuring efficient data transformation and workflow automation.
- Experience with Talend for executing and managing ETL jobs, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring seamless data integration.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks for data exploration and analysis.

The salary range for this position is: $85,000-$105,000 based on experience and qualifications.
