What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Detailing Assistant Trainee position at MOBILE CAR DETAILING?
Job Duties:
You will learn to assist with detailing vehicles as needed. Work includes, but is not limited to the below:
- Answering and returning phone calls.
- Assist navigating to customer locations.
- Checking in customers.
- Setting/Packing up equipment.
- Vacuum vehicles thoroughly.
- Clean the nook and crannies of the vehicle.
- Deep clean carpets seats, and mats.
- Shine leather and vinyl surfaces.
- Hand wash & dry exterior
- Decontaminate paint
- Clean & polish wheels
- Polish & wax exterior paint
Requirements
- Ability to meet in Colonie, NY.
- Be willing to travel with us to mobile jobs (sometimes up to 1 hour away)
- This job requires consistent bending and light lifting. You must be physically able to work outdoors for a minimum of a few hours. You will be exposed to the elements (eg. cold, sun, heat, bugs).
- You must have an eye for detail. You will need to remove dirt and grime in small spaces and crevices, stains on the seats, and defects on the vehicle's paint.
- Professionalism & respect for other's property.
- Comfortable working around animals on customer's property (eg. dogs, cats, etc.)
- Positive Attitude
- Punctuality
- Computer literacy and efficient with email communication
- General knowledge and appreciation for cars
Preferred; but not required:
- Driver's license
- Own a vehicle
- Professional detailing or cleaning experience
- Customer service experience
- Outdoor work experience
- Labor intensive work experience
Additional Information
*Please note: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor per diem position. There are no guarantee of hours. You will be offered job assignments as they become available, and you will have the option to accept or decline them.
Work Hours: Varies between 9:00AM-3:00PM.
Work Days: Vary. You choose your availability.
Pay Rate: $40.00-$100.00 per vehicle plus tips.
Pay Schedule: Weekly check or direct deposit.
