Accounts Payable/ Payroll Accounting Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable and Payroll Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payables and processing payroll. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices daily and confirm the correct general ledger account codes are used.
• Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments and account status.
• Process AP payments on a daily basis via ACH, wire, or checks.
• Process daily cash receipts
• Process payroll
• Support the accounts receivable team by providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor filing systems for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information.
• Assist vendors, & customers with inquiries via phone or email.
• Projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years of accounts payable and payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP best practices, double-entry bookkeeping, and basic accounting.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Outlook, & Word are required.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, customers and internal teams.
• Experience in human resources processes is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
