Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist
Location: Morristown, NJ
Shift: 5 days/week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology-Special Procedures team in Morristown, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in interventional radiology or as a cardiovascular technologist, with a valid NJ radiographic license and ARRT certification. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment assisting with complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases, including scrubbing alongside specialty proceduralists and maintaining sterile technique.
• Operate fluoroscopic modality machines, power injection devices for contrast media, and manage groin sites post-intervention while ensuring infection prevention measures.
• Retrieve and circulate complex products during interventional procedures and document all activities in the electronic medical record and Sectra/PACs system.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and strong communication skills during complex neuro-interventional and vascular cases, contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining compliance with licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Required: High School Diploma/GED and Associate degree OR completion of an accredited radiographic program.
• Certifications/Licensure:
• NJ Radiographic Licensure (required).
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification (required).
• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association program (required).
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment, including floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic machines.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation and imaging systems (Sectra/PACs).

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours Per Day: 7.50
• Hours Per Week: 37.50

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $63.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
