Position: Mammographer
Start Date: 11/12/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Towson, MD, 21204
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days, 8
Shift Notes: 8hr days 7a-3pm or 7.30a-4p Monday-Friday 40hr guarantee
Weekend Requirements: None
On-Call Requirements: The call schedule is to be determined by the facility
COVID-19/FLU Requirement: COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM.

- Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
- May be assigned independent responsibilities by the Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
- Proper care of the client by the departmental and hospital policies and
- procedures is required.
- May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by the Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
- Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
- Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACs applications.
- Attends annual mandatory education to include bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
- Maintains department competencies as required.
- Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
- 2 Years of CURRENT MAMMOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
- ARRT (M) (R) Certification - Required
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need

- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
