Position: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Keene, NH, 03431

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Varied, 12

Shift Notes: 12hr shifts WEEK 1: Sunday 9a-9.30p, Thursday and Friday 7a-7.30p WEEK 2: Wednesday and Thursday 7a-7.30p and Saturday 9a-9.30p

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (part of shift)/Holiday coverage required if needed/scheduled

On-Call Requirements: TBD

COVID Vaccination: Covid vaccinations are strongly recommended, but not required

Travel Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed-toe shoes shoes-sneakers or clogs. Hair worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, no dangling earrings.

• Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of body requested by Physician.
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operates film processing equipment.
• Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room emergency room or at the patient's bedside.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
  
  

Submission Requirements

• 1 year of current X-ray tech experience in a hospital setting - Required
• MUST be proficient/highly experienced with the following; Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, & OR c-arm - Required
• MUST have experience with ALL age groups - Required
• Previous travel experience - Preferred
• NH MIRT REQUIRED! Temp available with a FAST turnaround for those who carry an equivalent state license.
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
