Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Start Date: 11/4/2024

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: New London, NH, 03257

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights,7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12

Shift Notes: 12Hr Nights 7p-7a - 36 hrs/week.

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holidays required

On-Call Requirements: None

COVID Requirement: n/a

Traveler Policy: This facility will not consider any "local" traveler - who resides within 50 miles of the facility

Patient Population: All ages

EMR: EPIC

• Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
• Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after
• The Emergency Nurse must be able to think on your feet and prioritize quickly.
• Must have the flexibility to continually restructure, sometimes by the minute your time.
• Must be able to obtain a health history as well as complete an accurate physical assessment and plan for treatment.
• Critical thinking and sharp decision-making are essential for this role.
• Good communication skills are imperative.
• Must be able to deal with unplanned situations and it is not unusual to experience angry and even combative behaviors expressed by patients or their families.

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent ED Experience - Required
• Experience in a Critical Access facility
• EPIC EMR experience – Required - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Travel experience - Preferred
• BSN preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
