Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner in Chico, California

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Chico, California. This is a full-time or part-time position focusing on providing comprehensive care to residents in Long-Term Care facilities. In this role, you will diagnose and treat various health conditions, promote wellness, and educate both patients and their families on best health practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and interpret lab results to diagnose health conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Counsel patients and their families about disease prevention, medical conditions, and prescribed treatments.
• Oversee patients’ health and monitor progress, particularly for long-term care residents.
• Support disease prevention and health promotion efforts within the community.

Required Qualifications:

• California State RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Experience in one of the following Nurse Practitioner specialties: Geriatrics/Gerontology, Acute Care, Cardiology, Family Health, Women’s Health, or Psychiatry. (Training will be provided for those without experience in these areas.)
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• Ability to confidently manage patient care, with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the medical team.

The Offer:

• Hourly Rate: $80.15 - $90.15 per hour, with the potential for bi-weekly bonuses.
• Flexible work schedule—full-time or part-time options available.
