MobilityWorks is seeking an outgoing, energetic Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll bi-weekly utilizing ezLabor time management system and ADP WorkforceNow platform. Additionally, will assist the Payroll Manager in the audit of all payroll related legislation, practices, and policies.
What you get to accomplish:
- Analyze, prepare, and audit all payroll data for ADP and ezLabor.
- Entry and balance of all manual payroll batches.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local wage & hour laws and tax laws.
- Enters employee changes in ADP, such as tax filing and direct deposit, as necessary.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you should posses:
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
- 3 years’ experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll systems and time/labor systems (required).
- Multi state experience (required).
- Knowledge of local, state and federal payroll laws (required).
- Must have demonstrable competency with computers (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
