About the Role
This is a U.S.-based position with a leading KOSDAQ-listed company in the battery materials sector. The successful candidate will oversee quality management operations at our Kentucky plant, interfacing with U.S. clients and maintaining compliance with global automotive quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute quality assurance and control systems in battery materials manufacturing
- Manage customer quality interactions and audit responses (IATF16949, VDA6.3)
- Coordinate internal/external quality audits, document findings, and implement improvements
- Supervise product inspections, material traceability, and corrective actions
- Ensure continuous improvement in quality processes aligned with U.S. and Korean HQ standards
Requirements
- Currently residing in the U.S. strongly preferred (visa sponsorship possible but limited)
- 8 years of experience in quality management, ideally in automotive or battery materials
- Proven knowledge of IATF16949, VDA6.3, and OEM customer audit handling
- Fluency in English and ideally also in Korean (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
