Position Summary:
The Finance Associate position will play an important role in driving the financial success of the Company. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the management and operational teams throughout the Company, the Finance Associate will be directly involved in the Company's financial operations, planning and efforts to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
*Work closely with Company Managers to facilitate procurement of necessary materials.
*Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, general ledger updates and reporting of accounts payable, as part of monthly financial reporting packages.
*Work closely with sales and operations teams to facilitate proper and timely customer billing.
*Update general ledger and financial reports to reflect customer sales.
Strategic Planning:
*Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, customer development and operational improvements.
*Contribute to financial forecasting and budget analysis efforts.
Customer Development and Support:
*Develop financial models to assess the profitability and financial impact of customer relationships and new opportunities.
*Support customer retention and growth initiatives through timely responses to customer inquiries.
Required:
*Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study
*1 - 3 years of experience
*Quikbooks Certified
