Customer Service/ Order Expeditor:
Customer service representatives (CSR) are responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues with orders, product availability and return authorizations, while ensuring a positive customer experience. Customers are internal and external
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- CSR will communicate with customers/Internal team members through various channels such as phone, email, or chat.
- CSR will generate picking slips and orders for the warehouse personnel
- CSR will finalize and expedite the orders to the Traffic Team
- CSR will focus on handling basic queries from customers and escalating to the manager/lead on more complex issues. CSR will be asked to contribute feedback, collaborate with team members within the immediate team as well as other departments.
- CSR, will contribute to process improvements.
- Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
