Position Overview:

As the Bar Lead, you will play a crucial role in curating outstanding beverages that align with our restaurant's culinary offerings and enhance our guests' overall dining experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of passionate beverage professionals, ensuring consistent quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service. The Bar Lead position is limited to one day per week, and your additional hours would be worked as a Bartender.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with a team to develop beverages that reflect the restaurant's concept, aligns with current trends, and meets guests' preferences.
• Assist in the selection, sourcing, and pricing of beverages to meet budget expectations, including spirits, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic options, in collaboration with the purchasing team.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings, promoting a seamless integration of flavors and enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Work on updating beverage menus regularly, considering seasonality, customer preferences, and profitability.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, track product usage, and manage ordering and stock rotation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging beverage techniques, implementing innovative ideas to keep the beverage program fresh and exciting.
• Weekly meetings with Sr. Director of Operations to report project updates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Mixologist or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and vendors.
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations.

Schedule:

This is a part-time Bar Lead role, with only 8 hours per week spent working on the beverage program. Additional hours as a bartender are available to supplement your schedule and earnings.

Wage and Benefits:

• $24.00 / hour while working as a Bar Lead
• $20.10/ hour plus tips while working as a bartender
