Retail Sales Associate - Mod Ref | Common Market (SoHo, NYC)

Join our team as we launch our new SoHo store in Spring 2025! We’re seeking a Retail Sales Associate who understands the Mod Ref | Common Market aesthetic and embodies our brand’s spirit. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by building genuine relationships and providing personalized styling recommendations.
• Process all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain store organization by ensuring cleanliness, proper inventory management, and restocking as needed.
• Communicate inventory needs, including sold-out items and restock requests, to HQ in a timely manner.
• Uphold the store’s visual and merchandising standards to ensure the store is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising and floor sets to ensure brand consistency and aesthetic appeal.
• Develop a strong understanding of product knowledge to confidently assist customers and highlight key features.
• Support in-store events and activations, contributing to a seamless and engaging customer experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive and productive store environment.
• Gather and share customer feedback, shopping trends, and insights with management.
• Maintain availability and flexibility to work during peak business periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate passion for the Mod Ref | Common Market brand and products, serving as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
