We are currently seeking a Temporary Assistant in our Human Resources department. This position organizes and maintains employee personnel files, provides customer services to Moda employees and visitors, inputs data into the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and assists team members in various other HR functions.
This is a full-time, onsite position in Downtown Portland, Oregon.

- PST Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS databases.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to listen and respond to information effectively.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to come into work on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and project a positive and professional business image.
- Possess problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Maintains personnel files by scanning, filing, and organizing employee files.
- Provides timely, accurate customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Enters employee information into HRIS databases.
- Processes new hire paperwork.
- Responds to employment verification requests and other time-sensitive employee communications.
- Assists and supports all HR team members with miscellaneous clerical tasks including sending birthday gifts, coordinating bereavement baskets, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
