Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their vehicle maintenance needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customer concerns regarding vehicle performance and repair requirements.
- Prepare detailed service estimates based on mechanical knowledge and auto estimating skills.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on progress and any changes to estimates.
- Document all services performed, parts used, and labor hours accurately in the system.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in all service operations.
- Foster a positive customer experience through exceptional service management.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including air brake systems, brake repair, alignment, suspension, and auto body repair.
- Experience in auto service or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with technicians and customers.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and address their concerns professionally.
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role is an advantage.
