What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Porter/Janitorial position at MODERATE INCOME MANAGEMENT?
Local property management company is seeking Janitor/Porter to join our existing team at the Central YMCA Residence in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have experience with general building upkeep and maintenance, preferably in a residential community setting.
Responsibilities:
- Sees upkeep of common areas such as hallways, parking areas, and sidewalks, vacant units, and management offices
- Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors, washes window, cleans appliances and vents
- Attends and participates in training classes for the maintenance and custodial staff
- Keeps the work areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Assists in the inventory control and security of all janitorial equipment and supplies
- Assists in all aspects of the property as directed by the Superintendent
Schedule: M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm and W-F 10:30am to 7:00pm and Saturday/Sunday
Requirements:
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- Must be willing to work with a wide variety of people including tenants, peers, and managers
- Must have good safety habits
