ABOUT THE JOB

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for executing marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and boosting the brand’s presence. They collaborate with different teams to support social media efforts, write effective copy, and assist in communication tasks. Their goal is to help enhance the company’s marketing impact and brand visibility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist in the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across platforms, ensuring alignment with Modere's brand voice and goals.
  • Help monitor social channels and engage with audiences, responding to comments and messages to foster community growth.
  • Assist in analyzing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on results.
  • Help write, edit, and proofread engaging copy for various channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and product collateral.
  • Assist in executing email marketing activities, including list management, campaign design, campaign creation, campaign execution, A/B testing, and data analysis of email performance and engagement.
  • Develop creative ideas and content for marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
  • Assist in crafting press releases, internal communications, and newsletters.
  • Support event marketing and outreach efforts, including messaging and materials.
  • Work closely with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content to help support the communications department.
  • Coordinate with product and sales teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to drive growth.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not supervise people.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Recommended:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or communications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
  • Experience with email marketing and CRM software.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activity, and digital marketing best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Photography and/or videography experience is a plus.
  • Passion for clean living and wellness is highly desirable.

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
