Modern America Campgrounds in Lake George, NY, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure bathrooms, laundry facilities, store areas, and other common spaces are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
- Remove trash and ensure proper disposal in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Follow all established procedures and safety protocols to uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to complete daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
